    Why kids need books

This is the age of computer games and movies, and it looks that there is no place for books. They were a huge part of our life, since we can remember, but now they are history, at least for many families. Parents should know that books are important for kids, so instead of buying a new computer game, buy a book! Many parents cannot create a bond between them and their kids, but books can help you. Reading books together, with your child, will create a strong and warm bond.

Due to the internet and TV, kids have a very good vocabulary! Books can expand it even more and they help developing a basic language skills. Basically, books have the same effect on adults as well. Fiction and non-fiction books will go one step further. Those books will give new ideas to children and expand their universe. Those children will have many new and original thoughts!

Books also help children develop critical thinking skills. When they read a book, the emotions have a huge role. There is no sound or someone who will tell them when to laugh or what to imagine. They decide what they will think about that book, which can increase self-confidence. Books also prepare a child for the next stage of maturity. With books, kids can experience something in their imagination before they do the same in the real world. Even more important is that children will be able to make a difference between good and bad, right and wrong. Simply said, this can make them a better person. The books will make them laugh, but also cry, so children will be more connected with their emotions.
