We are aware that kids don’t like homework of subjects they are not interested in but you can always help them with their homework so that they develop interest and complete their homework joyfully.
1. Make plans
Sit down with your kid and plan out expectations your kid seeks, rather than waiting for the academic year to start and problems arise. Fulfilling two to three goals each day will get you better results. Also you can note all the subjects and chapters where your child faced problem last year to know chapters where they need attention.
2. Know when to get him extra help
If your kid is stuck on a homework assignment do not make the common mistake of re-teaching your kid the same topic. Your approach to the kid for the same assignment may be other than what they were being taught in the school which can further complicate things. Usually kid face problem in understanding a topic in the class and their parents teach them a different method which will only arise more problems. So just help your child with hints rather than teaching what they are facing problems with.
3. Choose the right spot
Not all kids feel it comfortable to study in a table chair setup and can study easily sitting on their bed. Some need help to solve problems and some need independent and quiet atmosphere to do things more creatively. You will always need to choose the right spot.
To make your kids homework more joyous and easy you can always take help of professional tutors or ways that can help him learn more.
