When the miscarriage happens, women bleed through the vagina, followed by a sharp pain in the abdominal area. Also, the blood pressure level may drop for some women. If you are experiencing any of this, make sure that you see a doctor immediately.

Unfortunately, miscarriage may happen even before you realize that you are pregnant. In fact, if you have conceived accidentally and are not aware of it, you don’t take necessary precautions, thereby increasing the chances of miscarriage. To make sure this does not happen, keep a track on your ovulation and ensure that you are having protected sex during this time. This will prevent the accidental pregnancy from happening.

If the pregnancy is planned, then make sure that you have increased the consumption of folic acid through your diet. Homocysteine element is the biggest culprit of miscarriages and it can its production can be controlled to a great extent with folic acids. Aside from this, be very careful about getting any type of illness treated during pregnancy. Certain illnesses have a direct impact on the foetus and may result in miscarriage.
