Always Opt For A Homemade Mosquito Repellant For Your Baby Because Its Skin Is Very Sensitive

The skin of a baby is very sensitive and it can be the favorite site of attack of a mosquito. Babies lack the basic immunity adults do, and they are more likely to develop and have diseases like malaria.

These can wreak havoc in a baby, so a baby is best kept away from mosquitoes, or at least a mosquito repellant be used on its skin.

You should always be wary of the mosquito repellants available in the market for they can produce a lot of side-effects and the baby's skin can be harmed. So, always go for a mosquito repellant you made at home. You can find the recipe for doing so on the internet easily.

To a potent mixture of witch hazel and almond-oil as the base, add some essential oils like geranium, citronella, eucalyptus-oil, lavender and lemon-grass.

The ratio between essential oils and the base should be ideally 1:10. With-hazel is great for the baby's skin, this is probably why it is commonly used to treat diaper-rash.

Almond-oil has a high content of vitamin E, so it does the job of nourishing the baby's skin. So, you have a perfect recipe for your baby's soft and gentle skin.

There are sure to be no rashes on the skin if you use this, you can be sure. Apply the mixture every two to three hours. Mosquitoes will surely keep away from your baby.

Alternatively, you can use a spray to keep mosquitoes at bay. It is best to keep the baby completely covered in clothes at all times. There should not be any visible skin where the mosquitoes can find an opportunity to feast themselves.
